Fluxus 50 – live dokumentiert

The students of the FH Mainz designed the exhibition on the history of 50 years of Fluxus in Wiesbaden. Entering the Museum the visitors started in the simulated historic space, were it all began: in the auditorium of the Museum. Integrated into the monumental data storage the old fashioned TVs told the story via contemporary witnesses and how they experienced the first Festival of newest music in 1962. At the end historical posters and actual news on the exhibitions overlapped each other on a huge glas wall, where – if scratched off – one could see the space behind. There news and films were produced during the exhibition period. But the brain of the whole thing was already waiting on the roof, in front of the building
